We have been able to build numbers in P6, making the most of the space outdoors.
We have focused on odd and even, as well as smallest and largest. Some groups found it harder than others but every group were able to develop their thinking skills.
We have also linked estimating length in metres, with our learning about Viking long houses. Some children were surprised at their own estimates and how accurate they were.
The children were amazed at how long and wide Viking houses actually were. We learned about a chieftain's house which was too long to fit into our playground.
