P6 had a fabulous Roman Day on Tuesday past. The children came to school looking absolutely amazing with lots of soldiers and rich young ladies, as well as some goddesses.
The day was filled with a latin language lesson, counting in Roman numerals, tasting a Roman banquet and printing legion banners.
As soldiers the children also experienced catapult building and marching exercises.
There was also a Roman dig to help the children understand the role of an archaeologist.
