Today staff and pupils at Eden PS took part in Ditch the Dark. The children and staff were asked to wear bright colours and travel actively to school. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side and we were not able to be just as active as we had hoped.
However the brightest dressed from each class were chosen and then an independent judge chose the winner of a light up scooter and helmet.
Congratulations to our winner in P6 but I'm sure you will agree that all children look amazingly bright, it was a tough competition and decision.
The school worked together and also raised a fabulous amount of money to send to our charity partner school in Dembi Dollo, in Ethiopia. The money will be passed on to Stand By Me and will be used for the education of our friends in Africa.
