Today we welcomed Noel in from ARC 21, to talk to us about the importance of recycling as a school and as individuals.
P1 created little seed pots using recycled newspapers.
P2 and 3 were able to make turtles by recycling cups to use as the turtle's shell.
P4 were able to recycle plastic pots and paper plates to create alien spaceships.
P6 made Roman Helmets using empty cereal boxes and tinfoil. Have a look at some of our photos.
P5 and P7 had a talk about recycling and then enjoyed some target practice as their topic of flight was introduced. The classes then went on to use a plastic bottle to create their own flying objects/planes.
